Oak Grove Baptist Church exists to carry out the biblical functions of the Church; Worship, Discipleship, Fellowship, Ministry, and Evangelism.
Vision
In obedience to Christ’s command in Matthew 28, Mark 16, and Acts 1, Oak Grove Baptist seeks to faithfully advance the Kingdom of God in our Jerusalem (Hattiesburg), Judea (Mississippi), Samaria (United States) and unto the uttermost parts of the Earth (Foreign Countries).
Our History
From the very beginning, this church has been built on faith, steadfast values, and a heart for serving others. Through every season, we’ve remained committed to sharing God’s love, building community, and creating a place where all feel welcomed and known.
What started in 1996 as a small gathering of believers , Oak Grove Baptist has grown into a lasting ministry rooted and grounded in the Word of God. We are deeply grateful for where the Lord has brought us and filled us with hope for the days ahead. What makes this church special is not simply the building or programs, it’s the heart behind it all. We strive to love intentionally, serve faithfully, and walk with purpose every step of the way.
